Got this from Peter direct. It has been carried a couple of times but has never cut anything. it is in mint condition and has never been sharpened. It has no marks or scratches on the knife at all. It has ZERO blade play and the blade centering is perfect. It deploys with authority and the lock up is super solid.
The blade steel is CTS-XHP and it runs on GTC bearings which makes the action incredibly smooth. The integral titanium frame has Peters unique cracked desert floor finish. This finish is 100% hand done and looks amazing in person! The integral frame has also been rounded and contoured around the spine so the whole knife melts in your hand when you grip it. Many of his integral knives have squared off handles with sharp edges that arent contoured. The blade itself has been acid/stone washed to give it a nice dark grey working finish, which would hide wear very well. The flats on the blade are hand rubbed to give a very nice satin finish.
Overall, the piece is very unique. Peter doesn't make that many pieces with this cracked desert floor feature on the handles.
I wished I didn't have to let this go but I am trying to save some funds to get a very special Rassenti that Peter is going to make for me. I am selling it lower than what this knife typically sells for on dealer websites, especially considering that this piece has additional custom work on it and is Peters newest piece.
Price includes shipping and insurance anywhere in the USA or Canada. Knife is located in Toronto, Canada. If you want to do a local pick up, feel free to do so. Please give me about 2 or 3 days after payment to ship the knife out. I will try my best to ship it ASAP but my work schedule doesn't always allow me to go to the post office every day of the week.
