This is a catch-and-release; got it and it is just too beautiful for me to carry (I am a "throw it in a pocket with change" kind of guy). Blades & bolsters are CPM 154. Orignal owner commissioned several pieces from Jim a few years back when he was taking orders; this one has been a safe queen ever since. I am the second owner as of today. The file work, as you can see, is continued down both blades symmetrically. File work acts as functional jimping on the blades (not on the handle). Walk and talk/smoothness is buttery.
Basically LNIB, but you can tell from one of the pictures that there is a slight surface scratch on the shield.
It is worth more than this, but I am only going to ask what I had my trade listed for because the previous trader gave me such a killer deal/trade on it, so I will pass it on:
Asking only $415. CONUS only. The price includes Priority shipping with insurance AND paypal fees. If you wanna save $15, I'll take $400 even as gift. Not looking for trades; I plan on buying a bunch of Northwoods knives direct from their brick and mortar shop so I can handle them in person. First "I'll Take It" with fast payment gets it. Don't expect price drops: i am not in a hurry, and am happy to stare at this thing for awhile!
