This rare, collectible Deluxe Model Buck Odyssey was made in 1998, the first year of production. The standard model had a 420HC steel blade, the deluxe model an ATS-34 blade. It features a solid large pivot, Walker liner lock, a combo edge, a chamfered blade, a modified Spyderhole for ambidextrous opening, jimping on the spine, stainless pocket clip, and a black moulded handle. It appears to me to have been competing with the Benchmade Ascent series and the Spyderco Delica.

It does not come with the original Buck box or papers, instead it has a plain gray box. After a close examination it appears to never have been carried, sharpened, or ever used. It is in mint condition with a centered blade. It is very smooth and fast opening.

The OAL length is 7.5", Closed 4.5", and Blade is about 3.25", all-in-all a nice light weight EDC
