Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri Plus and Bowie Spike as set
Kukri is the 01 steel, cold steel is now using on some of their larger blades. From what I have read this is an outstanding, tough steel ,considered an upgrade. As this was meant as a wilderness, user blade, a patina was forced to provide red rust protection. The patina came out great. Stripe pattern with a yellowish, bluish tint. Very nice. If you are in the market for a user kukri, you will want that patina protection especially in wet climates. Excellent condition, used once for testing on some brush and some de-liming. Sharpened back up to a shaving edge. Selling as I just picked up a HI Kukri this weekend.
Bowie Spike is older model. Some very functional gimping has been added along with a bead blasted type finish. I purchased it in this way. Great camp neck knife, very tough.
Both come with secure ex sheaths
Paypal fees and shipping included
$SOLD for both. Amazon retail for both these is in the $200+ range
Paypal CONUS only. You are responsible for safe use and knife laws in your area.
