Tmack, i'd like to see that balisong in person to see how it feels/flips and blade sharpness etc.
what steel is the balde & handles actually? if you're at work today i can meet you at the main library across from the Basilica.

let me know cause i live in brooklyn. I'm gonna take a nap wake up like 3pm.
 
I'm actually not at work, but I'm in the overlea area if you can make it there.
 
The handles are steel and about as long as long as a 63. The blade is untouched and in great shape, I think it is440 c but I'll have to double check. The custom machineing is fantastic. I paid the same price with plain handles and no holes.

For a shorter handled Bali, I was very impressed how nice it is to flip. Especially after its weight reduction.
