FS: Brand New/ Never Used
Blue Line Gear Exclusive, forest green (or is it Hunter-green...I forget)
SMF Lego 3/4 PD#1 S/W & DLC
<$420/TYD obo>
25-30% vault lockup, knife needs to be broken in as it hasn't been used, no play, dead centered, newest model w/serial number. Condition: 100%

*I bought the SMF as new, I sent the S/W blade to DLC. The result, a beautiful Stonewashed DLC finish.

The only trade I'll consider is towards a MSC.

Thanks. Who did the coating?

Richter

FYI: As you probably already know, Strider does coat some of their knives (folders & fixed) with the PVD/DLC proccess. So, obviously, it's not damaging. And since they use the PVD/DLC proccess theirselves, I can't imagine any warranty issues....that would be extremely conflicting.

I am aware that Strider uses this coating, however I don't have a good understanding of how it is applied. The concern was that could the DLC process mess up the HT or properties of the blade.

So who did the DLC, do that have a website I could check out? I'd like to understand the process a little better.

I just answered that.... Richter

And no.... PVD/DLC has to be applied 'after' any HT. Does not affect HT
