Up for sale is a truly beautiful Knife. It is a Large 21 with Micarta Inlays and the "old style" Raindrop Damascus. As we all know CRK has gone to a newer style Raindrop damascus pattern and some of us, like myself, greatly prefer the uniformed, tighter pattern that they used to use. Knives with that older pattern are becoming more and more difficult to find and here is one with pristine damascus. It features all silver hardware, nice lock up right at about 45-50%, and dead on centering. The one flaw this knife has is a small mark on the pocket clip but besides that it is in great condition.
A giveaway with many of these older style Raindrop Damascus knives is that there will sometimes be a "shadow" under the thumbstud. That is an indicator that the knife has been used a lot and this knife has nothing of the sort. The damascus on this knife is clean, and honestly looks just as it did when it was made. The Micarta looks very fresh and is still nice and grey indicating again that it has barely been used.
It saddens me to let go of this beauty but I have over extended myself a bit and something must go. The new owner will be very happy with it as the opportunities to locate the older, more uniformed Raindrop Damascus patterns are growing slimmer and slimmer. The knife is priced to sell at $SOLD (3.5% Pay Pal fees) or Gift, and I will cover USPS Priority shipping fully Insured. This may be one of the only Large Micarta 21s out there in this condition that has the more uniformed Raindrop Damascus pattern and a great opportunity to add it to your collection.
