Spyderco Brown Southard - user in very excellent condition with owner made naturally weathered teak scale.
SOLD $ 152.00 delivered - SOLD FREE SHIPPING IN THE U.S. - other cost would be incurred to ship outside the U.S.

I changed out the scale to this naturally weathered teak (bandsaw from an old table top). My first time doing this so it is not perfect (screw holes are a bit deeper than I would prefer) but looks and feels great and fit the perimeter very well. Please note - I did not carve out the extra wood at the spydie hole as it is on the brown scale. Means it is mostly a flipper. (See note below)
Comes with box and papers and original brown scale all in high excellent condition.
It is a well cared for user - sharp and unblemished. Only used as a gentleman's carry.
Lock up and centering are excellent - NO blade play.
The flip - PLEASE NOTE - Does not fire "like a rocket" - never has. My brother says I'm crazy to complain. He flicks this open to full lock up just fine. Maybe the problem is my old arthritic tending fingers. No matter I can't flick this open if the knife is pointing up. Pointing down I can lock it up 90% of the time with no wrist flick. This is not an IKBS system after all but bearings set in a plastic/nylon ring.
In conclusion I am giving this a B+ deployment with flipper and an A+ using the hole. The knife is in all other respects an A+.
I think many of you would find this to be fine but if you are a perfectionist this is not the knife for you.
A fine looking and excellent condition knife looking for a new home.
Pay Pal is best for payment.
