This knife was made by forum member Big Chris. He called it a Kephart. This is one of his older designs, thus the old B stamp. This knife is USED. It has stains, a naturally forming patina, and some corrosion speckles, as seen in the pictures. No big deal, everyone knows carbon steels corrode. These speckles were always kept in check. I took care of this knife. Every once and a while I scrubbed it with WD-40 and rinsed it off. I always wiped it off after use. Point is, nothing is perfect, Im just being transparent so people understand this knife exhibits wear and tear and age. All in all, this knife is in outstanding condition, no problems. Im selling the knife as is. Since this knife has been used a lot, Ill let it go on the cheap Asking $73.00.
Specs:
steel = O1
thickness = 3/32
oal = 8-1/2
blade length = 4-1/4 tip to scales
blade width at plunge = 1-3/16
grind = scandivex or a low convex if you will, micro-bevel (the micro-bevel can be seen in the pictures)
canvas micarta scales
aluminum pins and tube
