I'm looking to sell or trade my 555-1 Mini Grip, it has the normal 20CV blade but I swapped the scales for these MV Manufacturing scales. $old
The scales are natural G10 (similar to jade G10) with golf ball texturing and a finger choil. The scales come with Titanium screws and back spacers. The scales don't seem thick enough for the female pivot pin, this allows side to side play. Best thing I can think is to add a spacer between the scale and the pin or cut the pin down in length. Also, the recess for the pivot pin seems bigger than it needs to be. If you want to know more please PM me.
The blade is in good shape, I sent it to BM for the spa treatment and the blade came back with a couple dings in it. They'll sharpen right out.
I am willing to part out the knife (blade alone, liners/axis assembly alone, scales and hardware alone etc.) in sale or trade. I also have stock GRN scales if you don't want the MV scales
