I'm not the original owner, but appears to have never been used.
The Bastinelli BBR1 was a collaboration between Bastien Coves (Bastinelli Creations) and the knife collector/designer known as MonsieurFromLondon. It was produced in a limited run of 75 knives by LionSteel and sold out at the 2011 USN Vegas show. It will never be made again. The design is the first Bastinelli folder ever produced and was the baseline for the popular BBR2 folder, also made by LionSteel.
Design-wise, this is an incredibly versatile knife with the size and cutting power of much bulkier and heavier framelock folders, but in a lighter and slimmer package. It is comfortable in nearly any handling position and can be used as an emergency tool, self-defense implement, or EDC knife. Check out Bastien's YouTube videos of him destroying stuff with one of these. The handle ergonomics, blade design framlock bar and rotoblock create an incredibly secure knife with no risk of slipping or accidental closures.
The BBR1 features titanium lockbar and skeletonized liner, DLC'd D2 steel blade with a full flat grind profile and a 3.5" cutting edge, dual thumb stud, tip-up, right-side carry pocket clip, screw-on conical glass-breaker, and G10 scale.
Comes with a padded, zippered case and a DPx HEST tool for adjusting the pivot.
Everything is super solid on this knife. There's one small rub on blade that doesn't show well in pics. It's on the show side, near the edge, just below and slightly left of logo.
It is a wicked tool, so if it doesn't sell...oh, we'll.
I've also listed a Bastinelli (Custom) Boneless in "Customs."
