For sale today is a stunning piece made by the great Kirby Lambert. I am the original owner and worked directly with Kirby during this build. Kirby was nice enough to take a few W.I.P. (work in progress) pics, so you can really see the piece come alive, which can be forwarded to the new owner if they so desire. I wanted to throw everything possible at Kirby and see if he was up to the challenge, and he did exceptionally well. The knife features the following:
-Kirby's FIRST attempt at making Mokuti pivot collars (which turned out beautifully)
-A beautifully etched Damasteel blade, with Kirby's signature Multi-ground tanto grind
-Full mokuti scales
-Matching Mokuti pivot collars (both sides of the knife, whereas many makers only do the showside)
-Matching mokuti floating back spacer
-Zirconium bolsters
-Matching zirconium pocket clip
-Totally seamless construction (look closely at the pictures, the lines of the knife flow incredibly well)
-Extremely smooth and Fast flipping action, which rides on bearings (I.K.B.S. I believe)
-Per Kirby's own words, "This is one of my favorite top three builds of all time". Which speaks volumes, as he has made some truly amazing knives over the years.
This knife is 100% N.I.B. Has certainly never been carried, nor has cut a single thing. 100% Safe Queen.
