SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
This one pains me because it's my first custom slipjoint, but up for sale is my beautiful standard Lanny's clip from Pepe Jalomo. I paid about $600 for this, but I'm looking for SOLD SOLD SOLD
It's a standard sized lanny's clip so it's got an approximately 4" handle and 3" blade. It's got integral copper bolsters and copper liners, Morrocan Thuya scales, and a beryllium copper shield for some variety. The blade is hand rubbed and beautifully finished. The walk and talk is excellent with a solid snap on the open and close. Pull is lighter, maybe a 5/6 out of 10. A beautiful has formed on the copper in the few months of me owning it.
So it's a gorgeous knife, but there are a few issues that I noticed straight from Pepe, which is unfortunate. The shield cutout isn't perfectly shaped, the tip of the blade is actually deformed and unsharpened, the hand rubbed blade doesn't have perfectly consistent lines, and the sharpening he did left a few marks on the grind finish. Other than those things, it's a stunning knife and honestly hasn't been used. I wanted to be totally transparent with you all though.
Hit me up if you're looking to buy!
Thanks everyone.
