Blade could be sharper. But it is work sharp. Your not cutting phone paper with it, cleanly, once started it'll cut but not the best. I honestly think with very little work it'll be scary sharp. I have a F1 Lam Cos that is scary sharp. The A1xb seems like a good knife, just more knife that I really wanted.
