Didn't get what you wanted for Christmas? Get this for yourself. BDAY 12/21, SN is a freaking 5, Stonewashed Elmax, Black Aluminum, Griptape Inserts, Titanium pivot collars and clip. Double-action, so it can either be a manual liner lock with thumb stud or a push-button automatic. Perfect centering and edge. Action as a manual is a bit weird, just due to how the detent has to be designed to enable the two modes of action. It's not bad, just a bit weird. Don't expect a guillotine free-fall. Can be middle-finger flicked, but why would you? Just push the button. The side-open auto action is on par with most Microtechs I've handled, bit weaker than a Protech but certainly no risk of failure. I like how this description is starting to become a review. The liner is steel, and there's a bit of lock stick but it's just lubricant getting on the tang, it'll either go away with time or you can open it and clean it. I have not opened this knife because the mechanism scares me. Ergos are on par with a Socom Elite, clip is fantastic and on par with Heretic's other ball-bearing ti clips This is like-new-in-box, picked it up just a few days ago and decided it wasn't for me. Comes with all original packaging in original condition. Note: This is the production run, not a prototype. Asking what I paid, which is more than fair considering current rarity and the super low serial. $420 SOLD
