I'm relatively new to different steels and such... What's the ultimate difference between the Civivi and the Ace that causes the price difference?

I don't know much about either maker of the two makers you are asking about (and that I'm selling) . I've just owned a few of their knives and been happy with both. Prices can vary on knives depending on materials used, where made, production numbers, rarity, etc. etc. For example, a Titanium knife with a mammoth inlay, Super steel (m390 and the likes), American made knife will typically be more costly than a g10-Aus 8 steel -made in japan sort of knife. Other factors are pivot systems as in ball bearing vs plastic washers, locking mechanisms, so on so forth. That is not necessarily the comparison between the two knives you asked about but what I know about knife making and pricing. The two you asked about are clearly two different types of knives just in materials alone. I hope that was helpful.

You could always grab both and do a little comparison yourself. ??

I’ll take the mini griptilian in 20cv, per our emails. Thank you.
Please let me know where to send payment.
