Alright, overspent my knife budget on a few impulse buys, then a grail I've been looking for over a decade came up... so I am selling this recently purchased beauty.
I present to you one of the ORIGINAL Gerber MK-II combat daggers of the sort issued to MAC-V-SOG during Vietnam. These are far superior to later versions which had thinner blades mass produced from stainless steel. Nope, this here has a thick L6 blade hand honed at the factory, and both edges are sharp. This knife appears never to have been used, although there are some light scuffs on the blade and handle. This one has a GRAY grip with black pommel and hilt, which IIRC was only made in a single production run in 1971. Comes with the original sheath as well as an extra custom Kydex sheath in the "Southern Comfort" style for IWB carry with a small brass knob.
Not only do you have an opportunity to purchase an extremely rare L6 MK-II, but if you ACT NOW you also get a 1980s vintage Gerber Guardian (blackened blade, user, sharp with pointy tip) ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!
