Got this in a trade recently. Previous owner was the original owner. He got it, look it apart to remove the lanyard, and put it in a case. I haven’t carried or cut anything with it so it’s basically brand new.

I don’t see any signs of snails or anything whatsoever. Has lanyard pin but no lanyard.
