Fred made this about 20 years ago, it sold on Arizona Custom Knives for around 500 and then sat in a collector's safe untouched. This was a one of, Fred only made a few others that were half this size.
That collector liquidated his collection a few years ago, and this blade passed amongst a few well known members of the Silat community before finally finding it's way into my hands. It was an impulse buy, think I paid about 300 for it.
Blade is made from Fred's secret hand forged steel, then set into a sanbar stag antler point. Someone put a loop of paracord through the hole drilled through the flipper, where traditionally a ring goes... I reckon a medium sized keyring would work fine if you wanted to do that.
This blade is very curved, so I'm unsure how best to measure it, so I took pics with it next to a tape measure... I would estimate it to be a 4" blade with a 5" cutting edge.
Excellent condition, almost like new.
Need to raise funds, so you can acquire this LEGENDARY blade for only SOLD, CONUS only (unless you want to pay 20 extra and assume all risk for international), via USPS Priority Mail, tracked and insured. This is less than half what I paid for it, and if it does not sell at this price I'll probably just gift it to my stepson.
