I've decided to move along this killer MK49 from Neal Malone. I sent Neal the Robs Wild Wood Bocote and .090 Black G10 liner material for this custom build. It has Carbon Fiber pins and lanyard tube. OAL 9 1/2" with a blade length of 4 1/2" x 1/8". I have looked through all my notes and messages with Neal and cannot find the steel. I am pretty sure it is 80CRV2. From all the steels Neal uses, this I recall is what he used. Slight chance it is S35VN?? It is a nice big handle. Comes with a beautiful right hand sheath. I had Neal send this one to Roy Lujan (Seventysixleather) for the custom sheath. BOD June 2019. This has been a safe queen since built. Never used/carried.
