sent this guy the money for the knife now he wants 20 dollars for shipping when it says "price shipped to door" .
 
How did the email/phone number get communicated?
 
he sent me email after i asked if it was still available. dont know where he got my email from
 
That’s what I figured. Looks like it may have been a scammer. Do you have your email posted in the forum anywhere?
 
I can say that that is not the sellers name.
 
Your best bet is to search your email here and delete it from anywhere you have posted it. That’s how they find it.

I’ve reported our posts so that they can be moved to clean up this sales thread.
 
I am inclined to think that the original seller is not the person who emailed you. The scammer got your email address from somewhere where you posted it publicly.

It is a good idea to have a paying membership here so that you can use PM’s to communicate.

i found it on the forum from 2019, i reported it to be deleted

I am glad no one was scammed.

I can be reached easily by messaging. I will clarify from now on that paid members only are eligible. I never use email. Click one wrong link and your toast.
