SOLD!
I bought this middle of last year for SHTF, but that didn't happen, and since I no longer go camping I really have no use for this absolute beast of a blade and it has sat in my safe untouched since received.
I was able to find out very little about Satino Marini online, but apparently he was a well respected maker, as well as a Bladeforums member, who vanished from the internet over a decade ago.
Had VERY light use from prior owner who collected Marini knives. A few very minor scuffs here and there, but overall excellent condition. Had a custom leather belt hanger made by the incredibly talented Gary Graley, set up for LH carry but can easily be switched to the other side.
Blade is 4.25" long and .25" thick, believed to be 1095 high carbon steel. VERY SHARP. Good weight and balance. I believe this knife would survive a nuclear war, it appears indestructable. Great handle, fits my hand perfectly, I believe the scales are G10.
Paid $175 for this knife and well fitting Kydex sheath, IIRC about $50 for the custom belt loop attached by Gary, so roughly $225 invested in this.
I will sell for only $125 shipped, via USPS Priority, USA only because I do not want to deal with international shipping. Priced low because I want to sell before the weekend.
Can accept Paypal F&F or Zelle, possibly other options as well, but those are my preferences.
