I had Kaleb Reynolds, AKA Kal Rey or Muskrat Man build a fighting Bowie to my specifications, loosely based upon an early Bill Bagwell design (yes, Bill made a few dogbone Bowies).
Nimble and light, perfectly balanced at the guard, edge and clip are both razor sharp. Bought this when I had money, now it sits in a drawer. Uncarried and unused.
10" L6 blade is 3/16" thick and cold blued. Steel single guard and sheath belt stud are also blued. Dogbone handle is cocobolo, tang is textured and runs nearly through the entire handle, epoxy was West System Gflex. Belt stud is set up for a left hand draw, but that could be switched to right with a little work, or it could easily be modified for belt carry.
In my humble opinion, this may be superior to Bagwell's work. Finest Bowie I've ever handled. I'll never carry this though, and I have bills.
Paid 500, asking only $275 shipped via USPS Priority. Subtracting shipping, this is half price for a brand new custom Bowie. Absolutely no international shipping. I will communicate only via PM, so if you are a registered user just pay the ten bucks for a Basic membership and PM me.
