Picked this up from another member earlier this year, think I paid 85 shipped.

Guessing it is 1940s vintage. He said it used to be carried by a former federal agent. This is a style the Irish used to call a "softener"... thin and light, unlikely to break bones, but it HURTS, stuns, and could certainly knock someone out (for display use only).

I have been carrying it for a few months. I like it a lot, but it has a coil spring core... and Colorado law says we're not allowed to have a blackjack with a spring, so getting something similar with a cable core instead.

This is an antique. The leather is old and discolored in spots, may peel here and there, some faint cracking of the leather on the head, but it seems solid and functional, no indication of dry rot.

An expert who saw photos seemed to think the head was shot filled, but it feels very solid to me with no give. I believe it is a solid lead slug. Weight is approximately 8 ounces. Very easy to carry. Knot on the end provides a great grip.

Only $50 shipped! USPS Priority with tracking. United States only. I can accept Paypal F&F or Zelle, possible other payment methods as well. You could easily more than double your investment reselling this on eBay, but I hate selling on eBay and would prefer this go to a collector, as you don't see many in this style. It is custom made, not a commercial product.

I WILL NEVER CONTACT YOU VIA EMAIL!. All communication via PM. I reserve the right to sell to whomever I wish. Item remains available until marked sold.
