Good morning bladeforums!Today I’m listing a very special piece.
This is a Mitchell Clark gunstock
Never cut ,never carried,never disassembled.Never even fidgeted with just kept in a safe and admired occasionally.
Blade length: 3.30 in.
Cutting edge length: 3.00 in.
Total length: 7.50 in.
Blade height (at heel): 0.84 in.
Blade thickness (near bolster): 0.12 in.
Blade thickness (at midpoint): 0.09 in.
Blade thickness (near tip): 0.03 in.
Item weight: 3.80 oz.
Shipment weight: 8.2 oz.
Blade: M390 stainless steel with a hand rubbed satin finish
Bolster: Mokume forged from brass, copper, and nickel by Mitchell Clark
Handle: Raindrop carbon fiber
Sheath: Foam lined hard shell case
Style: Linerlock front flipper with ball bearing pivot
. This knife was safe kept since it was made on October 6th, 2022. It is in brand new condition and by all appearances, Clark could have made it yesterday!
The drop point blade is hand ground M390 stainless steel with a meticulous hand rubbed satin finish,Clark used a deep cryo treatment and hardened the steel to 62 Hrc for excellent edge holding.
The blade is perfectly centered and has silky-smooth drop-shut action, incorporating premium Skiff-made caged bearings.
Handle scales are raindrop copper carbon fiber set on satin finished titanium liners. The scales are perfectly fit to mokume bolsters that Mitchell hand forged from brass, copper, and nickel. The titanium liners surround a matching satin finished titanium backspacer. The 3D machined titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
Includes a branded foam lined hardshell case for safe storage.
