Been messing with the idea of a welted pocket slip made out of thin 4oz italian veg tan coupled with a 9oz welt as to keep it's form. Still super lightweight, and considering the thickness of the knife the welt adds nothing to it. This one is a prototype that I'm going to call a "second" because the welt had a chemical reaction when I wet it for burnishing and darkened a bit. sold.
