Now on to the specifics. I bought this knife new at a place called the Ammo Dump in Georgia. I've carried it around with me maybe 30 times in the five or so years I've had it. Never been dropped or sharpened. It's been fired many times, maybe 100 .. and most of the wear on the body/clip is from sliding in/out of my pocket. Numbers on the clip: 01198 and 12/06 I assume those are serial number and manufacture date. I lightly oiled it 1 time about a year ago because it stuck a couple times. Fires on command every time now. Take a look at the pics. The third pic shows some scuffs on the body, you really have to hold the knife at a certain angle to the light to even see those. Pic 4 is the box contents, including a blank warranty registration card I never filled out. The last pic is of some kind of 'gunk' (for lack of a better term). I tried to scratch a little piece with my fingernail but it wasn't clearing up. The other side has one tiny little speck of this gunk. The knife has never been wet and I've never used the serrated edge to cut anything(the regular edge has seen some very light duty cutting tape a few times) so I'm not sure what's going on with that, maybe one of you know more about it. It almost looks like a coke stain or something but I'm more of a Mtn Dew kinda guy myself. That's the only real issue with the knife. That's an extremely close up pic and it's another one of those cases where you have to look really close to even see it. This knife is in really good shape and you won't be disappointed.
