RAY,
I spend alot of time in the shop, thats my job when im fulltime! thanks for the comments

Don't let him fool you guys, he sleeps most of the day, wakes up and knocks out 3 in a couple hours and goes back to sleep! I was up at his place this weekend learning a bunch. I wish we would have taken video because this guy can flat wear it out! I learned alot and made 2 knives with him that turned out great. Oh, nice recurve! I saw this one being grinded but missed the handle work.

Bowden, Bill's shots have almost convinced me to move back to New Boston just so I could go & hang out with him in his shop . . . :) Maybe this summer when we come down for the reunion in Wheelersburg for an hour or two . . .
Mr. Akers, great knife once again. After your how-to thread in November, I can now see how & why these knives turn out the way they do. Excellent craftsmanship, you deserve all the compliments & praise written here on the forum.
Absolutely beautiful work.
Be safe.

Hey now ,dont be telling secrets Chris, I dont sleep all day, he just slept in the shop lol, I can say this for a newby with "NO" EXSPERIENCE! He rocked ,after i got him used to the bader 2hp, when he gets all his ducks in a row,he will be putting out great product, aswell ,He had a great time ,and gained 10 lbs, lol! we eat good in the Backwoods

Bill was kind enough to give me a Grizzly grinder to get started on, Im adding the right touch of color to her!!! And some crappy pics of the knives

B/G, same here. I just ordered a bunch of Max stuff from Howe's Knife shop and that's the budget for this month. It never fails one of Bill's knives comes up and it is usually within a day or two after I have already bought something else. Maybe BACustomKnives could start a second franchise of an installment loan division . . . . :D
Trust me, one of these days there will be a knife in my gun room from his shop . . . .
Be safe.

The white turquoise really looks sharp. Really digging the file work on this one too.

As always you did one hell of a job Bill.

Payment sent by paypal, Thanks again Bill it will join my growing collection of your knifes.
And does this get me another number?
Johnny
