This is a forged tomahawk/trade axe forged using the wrap&weld method.Not a full bearded axe but has a noticable ammount of heel on the toe of the axe...1018 steel body wrapped around and a L-6 cutting bit welded in..Very sharp. Honestly a nice axe, great cutter..
The cutting edge is 3 3/4" wide and the head is appx 5 1/4" long..The haft is straight grain hickory, lightly burned,stained and rubbed with boiled linseed oil..SOLD....Thanks
