I think his statement "note the light play on the black G10 handle" is referring to the image where the light is really bringing out the grain and patterns in the G10.

I'm pretty sure he means the "play of the light" showing what appears to be a design on the handle, but which is in fact just reflecting (showing) the different depths of the G10.

yep the previous 2 gentleman are correct, Will means the light "chantoyancy" within the beautiful g10 pattern, I have the same knife with the black G10.
