I've used it, ... in my back yard, ... in Houston. Have a Temagami too, so figure I'll let this one go. To be honest this knife is more practical than the Helle due to the squared spine, pommel scraper, no leather, multiple mounting options etc. So it's been used but not abused.
Also including the following if you like. Partly tongue-in-cheek, but true ... A genuine real-deal Lars Grebnev of Survival Russia YouTube reknown, Danish fisherman cross-draw rig. Cool option for easy access in the bush. The webbing is Finnish army MILSPEC webbing, properly NIR reflective, super tough etc., olive drab. It's an ITW buckle, but European "pattern". The webbing is WAY longer than you'll ever need. The one end is glued and sewn.
