It's a translation into Italian of an excerpt from G.W.L. Nicholson's Canadians in Italy, 1943-1945.

Thanks, Steve, but I'll pass on that. My wife and kids have done that with German, and after I read the translation, it reminds me of the Monty Python sketch where the tourist, reading a translation dictionary, points to a pack of cigarettes and says "Please kiss my bum."

Yeah, the translations are pretty funny. :)

I tried to run some plant policies through some translation software from English to Vietnamese. I'm glad I had one of the ladies read it first. She almost fell out of her chair laughing at me! :D
