Alright caine...shoot me an AKO email when you get settled and I'll return the favor for some good knife mags and a care package:thumbup: For those that don't know, caine sent me some knife magazines when I was deployed last year...a true 'brother in arms':D

Caine made a great selection for the size. Too many times I saw some of the younger troopers with pretty large knives on drop leg rigs or hanging off their IBA...and saw them get snagged on chairs, caught in doors of a helo or C130 when exiting or loading up; and I saw one actually up-end himself getting out of a 1114! With all the gear you where when traveling off the FOB/COB's, a large knife is just too cumbersome. I've found anything over 5.5-6" is just too long to carry with an IBA (or access easily) or doing a lot of mounting and dismounting from helo's and wheeled vehicles.

Keep your head down Caine. Make sure you get your S6/Info-Assurance geeks to get your key forum IP addresses unblocked! If certain GO's can get 'fantasy football' sites opened up, it's no problem to get access to bladed hobby sites:D I probably know your BDE S6...so shoot me a name off line if you run into any problems.

Take care brother,

ROCK6

CAINE, Be safe, and god bless you and the rest of the guys overthere:thumbup:
