I hate to sell these beauties, but unemployment sucks & the bills must be paid......
First up is 1 of only 4 or 5 KFU Camp Knifes that Chris has made so far.
It is handled in Cocobolo with some nicely contrasting heartwood with Brown Micarta liners and black pin stripes + SS pins & tube.
The steel is 3/16" thick Aldo's 1095.
The blade is 9",has a full flat grind with antique finish & the handle is 5.5".
Leather sheath included.
The Camper fits tightly for great retention but could use a wet forming which I didn't want to attempt fearing I'd cause corrosion on the blade.
I did a bit of chopping & batoning to test it out & I gotta say it has the most comfortable handle I've felt on a chopper yet.
It is nice & full for a hand filling grip with no hot spots.
Lightly used, not abused, still feather stick making sharp with just a few scratches in the antique finish from battening & no dings, chips or cracks anywhere that I can see.
$185.00 shipped.SOLD
Next up is a nice Hunter/Utility with handle made from the same block of Cocobolo as the Camper.
Brown micarta liners with black pin stripes, black micarta pins & SS tube.
Aldo's 1095,5/32" thick,satin finish,4" blade & 4 7/8" handle.
Nylon sheath with accessory pouch & removable drop loop included.(Came from a CRKT)
Used to make a couple of feather sticks, not abused, still sharp enough to make plenty more feather sticks or skin a Baar.
$110.00 shippedSOLD
2012 makers mark.
2013 makers mark.
Take both for $285.00.
The first I'll take it either here or via Email/PM by time stamp gets dibs.
You must be legally able to own/buy a knife to get one of these beauties.
