Solid Black baliyos $10!

Sweet! I was pretty sure I would pick up a baliyo at some point but now I will for sure.
 
It's $9.99 because it's not made in the USA. But, it's a pen, so who cares.

Just an educated guess from my part, I'm pretty sure though because all the other ones are still $30. Notice how nowhere on the new black pen's page does it say anything about USA, while the other pages still shows the US flag and talks about it being US made. Also, look at the model numbers. The black pen says "YCN", while the other ones all say "YUS".

So I'm guessing the black is made in China. You'd think it would have to be at less than a third the price.
 
who cares where its made..I think 100% of my school supplies were always made in china :p so Im sure it'll be just as good.
So for ten bucks that works for me! although Ive already spent 60 on two others..:foot: so whats ten more lol
 
Yep, who cares as long as we get stuff cheaper it doesn't matter where it's made. Until we have no money to buy it, I guess then it might matter.

+1 on what Jill said.. At least make sure you buy something made in the US or at least a western country at the same time.
 
Each to their own, but I buy enough stuff made in China that I have little or no choice to. So I don't buy items from there I can find made elsewhere.
 
We make two versions. The USA made version is 100% USA (made in Colorado), the pen cartridge is a Fisher Space Pen cartridge. The weights are USA made Eco-brass. The USA version comes with an insructional DVD.

Due to much price resistance to the USA made version, we made a Chinese version for those seeking a lower cost. The function is the same. The weights are stainless steel, the cartridge is not a Fisher. there is no DVD.

We felt that having both USA made and Chinese made offerings, the choice was yours. The price difference is typical for USA made vs Chinese made products.

What is the pen cartridge?
 
The material of the handles seem different too. I received one as a consolation prize from the first Bali-Yo contest in July, and the handles have more of a plastic-feel than my orange/red American one, which feels like hardened rubber (which I like better)
