solid fix blade survival knife

The BK-17 is very similar to the SOG Seal Pup Elite in terms of design. I like the Becker handle better personally but there are other handles/scales available but not as a factory offering.
 
I would not recommend buying the hibben. Very overpriced for what the steel is. 7cr17 is the Chinese equivalent of 440a.
 
Only three groups of people "need" a tactical knife:

1) Active duty deployed in a hot zone,
2) Special ops personel,
3) Anyone living in Detroit.
 
Ok I got it. Taking everything you guys have said into consideration I'm down to these two.


between the KABAR mark 1 and the becker bk 17.

leaning to the mark 1 though because of the metal pommel and slightly longer blade.
