Solingen 2013 knife show : best fixed blade to Karl-Heinz Koob

Wolfe Loerchner and his daughter, whose name escapes me right now..Elizabeth?!??
make some extremely nice integrals.

Yes I agree on Loerchner father and daughter. Billy Mace Imel is a precursor, as well as Dowell. You could also mention Ricardo Velarde, Arpad Bojtos, Ron Best (he makes only fine art folders now), Fred Carter, Edmund Davidson, Burt Foster, Stefan Gobec from Austria, Rodrigo Sfreddo from Brazil, Pierre Reverdy in France, Fritz Schneider in Germany, Hill Knives in Nederlands, etc. Bob Loveless, Buster Warenski and Steve Johnson also used to make some integrals.

Here are some more pictures of Koob's work.

Excellent work! These integal knives is high level finish, every piece is gorgeous, the hand rubbed blade is quite clean and clear.

from what little I've seen, I'm also impressed by the work of Michael Jankowsky and Richard Hehn, who I learned about from David Darom's book, The World of Art Knives - http://www.amazon.com/The-World-Knives-David-Darom/dp/9659090730

Yes, Michael makes very nice knives, on a traditional german tradition. Richard Hehn is a master (he invented the first stainless damascus with Fritz Schneider) and I should have mentioned him, definitely. He is a rather secret guy, you don't hear much of him and you can't find a lot of pictures of his knives on the web. I have beautiful printed pictures from his catalog that I should scan.
