I am selling this hunting knife made by Puma of Solingen, Germany (founded in 1769)

Knife is new and unused - still has the sticker on the blade and comes in green leather sheath.

One small blemish on the blade (just to the left of the sticker on the photo), and brass appears to have rubbed a small amount where the strap of the sheath crosses it. Factory edge has never been sharpened or used.

New from Puma, this knife and sheath costs 327 EURO (approx USD $366) plus postage:

https://www.pumaknives.de/en/hunting-knives/fixed-blade-knives/38/puma-jagdnicker

Blade length: 123 mm
Blade thickness: 4.5 mm
Total length: 9-1/4 "
Knife weight: 230 g
Scales: deer antler
Steel / hardness: 1.4116 / 55-57 HRC

Looking for USD $250 including postage to CONUS (I am in UK).

Turns out the dot is meant to be there...!

Quote from Puma website FAQ:

Why is there a tiny dot on the blade of my Puma knife?

This is so-called "Rockwell dot". All Puma knives are tested for their Rockwell hardness according to the system Rockwell C . In the test a diamond tip is pressed into the blade under a specified load and the penetration depth is measured. The stated value determines the hardness of the steel.
