Solingen... Toll!!!

Thanks buddy, I'll be off to Frankfurt this Friday, household fair with lots of desperate house wives:D Hopefully I'll see sehr geehrte Herr Wilkes again there at the Böker stand.

And thanks again, this time for the tip regarding the belt loop.

If I do my job right, there won't be any business trip to Solingen, unless on my own time, i.e. own expense:(

Anyhow, I surely doubt I'll have time to visit the Böker shop again - lucky for my wallet:D

Freaking Aldi, both Nord and Süd!!! Tomorrow I am instructed to take a glimpse in the paperworks - jolly good fun:(

KÖLN RULEZ & DÜSSELDORF SUX!!!

This, I won't dare to say it in your face;)

thank you for the kind words and hey, my hair is shorter than yours!!!

Guess we are both freaking hippies than:eek:

Anyway, I did the math: I paid €8-10 more, even after your discount, comparing with what I'd be paying at Hes van Zweeden:D(I know, this is a Dutch thing, really cheap people:rolleyes: )You guys deserve the extra €8, and the saved transport, especially how you've managed to restrain yourselves from stabbing me(I've given you plenty of reasons to do so:jerkit:)

BTW, you EDC those 2 Striders always?

MOI:
Please come to my office and close the door!
We have to discuss something... i.e. the sentence with Düsseldorf!!!!!!!!!!

You have seen my CP-T and my SMF... now I carry my RW-1 and RW-2

That's why I don't dare to say that in your face. Now I only EDC a Fenix P3D, FK TK4 and Spydie Bali-Yo - I'm clearly in the advantage, no fair fight for you:rolleyes:

Anyway, lovely whether today - oh joy!!!:barf:

PS. I forgot to count the Wilson Lanyard, after that, I paid €0.80 too much:eek:

I don't wanna feel the RW1/2 just for 80 cents - I'm crazy, but not stupid... wait a sec, isn't it the other waz round:confused:

Anyway, I promise I won't make a scene at the Böker stand at Ambiente. (guess where I have to stop over from Frankfurt to Solingen by ICE - Kööööööööööö...)

Tomorrow I'll hear if Aldi wants my head on a stick or not - I personally approved a sample shipment:foot:

... wait a sec... the .80 cents are not for my knives...

what a strange meal that you have...

yeah stop by to say Hello to the collegues, that you have already seen in the SHOP!

Anyway, just checked the info (lazy bastard I am) - my company's stand is rather close to the Böker one... the problem is, when you read this tomorrow, I'd already be running naked there:eek::p

Was liegt auf'n Teller mit die Spiegeleier?
Und was ist mit der Becel? Mensch, mach mit der Kerrygold! Ist doch peinlich...

Herr Rugger: That crap next to the eggs were cornbeef(???) and the Becel is free (landlord comes to fill the fridge once a week:D - come on dude, you really think a poor guy like me has the money for lavish things like food?) Proper Wiener Schnitzels last night and Polish Mad Dog(Vodka+Rapsberry Syrop+Tabasco=???) This w(h)ine I drank two weeks earlier, just to show you what kind of crazy crap I eat/drink

Anyhow, I'll probably go Schwein hunting(read:snaps zipping) next week, then I can make my own Schnitzel:p

Herr Leckebusch: When is the 2009 Magnum Jahresmesser coming out? I saw the catalogue at the Böker stand (new fixed blade ResCom:thumbup:along with the K-bit, RnR and G4) - yes, I did say hi yesterday, but the B-Boyz were busy with the big fish; and today I was busy with own fish.

Anyway, screw Zwilling because half of their stuff is overpriced (just as everyone there:D:D:D). I didn't take the effort to go to the Shun stand - I despise their scornful conducts in bizness. Some other guys pissed me off a big time as well - no, it's not just the guy in the mirror.

Different subject - to visualise the ceramic (to-choose-between-broken-tile-or-knife-)problem we discussed last week - this is damaged during transport - no, I didn't tap dance on it.

M.O.I.: Corned Beef! Nice w/ the eggs- should have been able to figure that out. Good deal if the landlord fills the fridge! Well done. South Africa is making some good wines- sorry I don't know that particular one- but hey- as they say a bottle in front of me is better than a frontal lobotomy.
And that "keramik" knife- Sad stuff. Hate to see that- but it's inevitable. I worked in a restaurant in Germany and the owner bought us a couple of "keramik" knives to use in the kitchen- they cost a freaking fortune. They stayed in the drawer because none of us wanted to be the one to break one of the expensive new knives. We beat the living hell out of our knives (and pretty much everything else- it was like a pirate ship in there) & the "keramik" ones wouldn't have lasted an hour.

I chose that wine from the card purely because its funny name, "Goats do Roam". If I get my own vinyard, I'd call my wine "Hippies do shave/take shower":D Note that I'm not inconsistent - I NEVA mentioned beaverages are lavish things like food.

There's another problem with them due to their brittleness - when they got stucked in the drawer, which happens once in a while - have fun cleaning the drawer. This particular Keramit is only 6~8 euro street price, but it's about as good as the 200 euro ones when it comes to the ceramic part. IIRC it's ca. 75 HRC. But hey, there're even ceramic scissors out there: only good for paper/textile/etc, broke one when I tried to cut plastic straps with it.

Another crazy kitchen knife trend, this time in UK (Tobias, maybe you didn't know, now buy me a beer:D): after the titanium coated edge (which only makes it prettier, i.e. more expensive - freakin' hell, the labs can't even test the coating's hardness because it's too thin), now there're (gonna be) entirely titanium coated blades:barf: ...marketing (no Tobias, I'm not calling you names) towards sheeple.
