That is actually not far off. We've had a very large african lion roaming the back yard as well as cheetahs and a bobcat.

Here's a tiger that was really cool. She would follow my sister around like a puppy and chase the horse around.

That's cool. What did your parents do for a living that they had wild felines in the backyard?
 
It's my sister's wild cat rescue organization.

this thread veer reminds me of an anecdote about a car thief in california stealing a car from a supermarket parking lot, as he started to back up out of the space he noted an occupant on the back seat. there was a leopard laying on the back seat. he departed hastily. cat was OK & chilled out on the seat when the owner returned... better than a trunk monkey :)
