Barricade used to be called Sheath. Its good stuff and supposedly designed to not attract dust etc. It also protects against finger prints and such.
I'm a big fan od Du-Lite Qwick seal. It dries to a non oily finish, has wax in it so it doesnt run. It doesn't build up. When you apply it removes the previous application.
Many firearm manufacturers us it when they ship out new guns. Also very popular with rebluing outfits.
Only trouble for me is it's hard to find. Most places you have to buy by the case.
Brownells carried it for awhile then discontinued.
