Solution for removing sticky stuff from blade.

the little alcohol pads from the hospital take off most of the junk that sticks to my knife ...(isopropyl alcohol)

what kind of crap are you getting on your knife that it requires brake cleaner to remove????? that stuff is not so good for you ... it is good for cleaning really dirty guns though :confused:
 
Everything will kill you in one way or another, brake parts cleaner just does it while doing an awesome job of cleaning metal. ;)

Can't verify how it acts on plastic materials but I've never had it eat away at anything I've used it for. Wouldn't surprise me a bit though if it could cause damage, so if you're in doubt I would use it on a rag and wipe it on the blade (my preferred method of use).
