This again is some of my personal stock I am trying to liquidate. This is some old school 440c I have had for a while that I baught from another maker who had had it for at least 10 years.

2 bars of 1/4" x 2" x 36" at $40 each
1 bar of 1/4" x 2" x 22" at $20
Now the cheapiest way is for me to cut these to lengths you want and ship in a flat rate envelop for $5 per stick.

But if you want them shippied whole I will have to get a shipping quote for you!!!
Thanks Jason

Hello jason, What would the shipping be for the three pieces. And do you have any pic's of the steel. Thank You, Mike

if you want them cut to smaller pieces of 12" or under I can ship them all for $10 if you want them left in their long lengths I will have to know where you are. I will get some pics posted in a couple of minutes...
Thanks Jason

Hey Jason,

Would you do $75 shipped? If so, what's your PayPal address? (I'm a poor high school arts and crafts teacher who is always in need of a discount.) ;)

Thanks for your consideration, Phil

Well he wouldn't budge a nickle. Completely understandable considering what a great price he had it already listed at (well less than half of Admiral's). I've never worked stainless, but this seemed like a good chance to get a little. Thanks Jason (and you other (slow poke) buyers :p)!

phil 440c is nice but my guess 30% harder than tool steel to grind when in a soft state. I used it a fair amount but like cpm 154 but its hard as anything out there. I was getting ready to send a paypal lol

Well,

He is listed on classmates.com, but I don't have a login.

For what it's worth I bought some steel from him back in August and the transaction went over smooth. He answered my emails and shipped quickly. He also offered his advice and knowledge and was all around very kind and great to deal with.

Since we were both using gmail to email back and forth I can sometimes see if he is online. He used to be online quite often but has not been in the last few weeks.

The steel came in today. Looks good. Thanks for the gift of a piece of carbon fiber scale. Is that what it is? I've never worked/seen any up close. Can you explain it to me? It looks like there are fine steel wires woven in it? Thanks so much for coming through!
