Some annual bark

Thanks for sharing.
Those 2007 pieces are too cool.
I've never noticed the bevel at the regular's with double studs - very interesting.
Would you be so kind to open the damascus pieces? TIA

They are so beautiful. A very nice collection indeed.
I also searching for large annual bark myself and they are very very hard to find (specially few ppl will ship international).
For two years, I just got lucky finding only 2 of large21 bark, 1 small annual bark and 1 small annual mammoth but not a chance of getting a large annual bark yet T_T
I hope one day I would be able to have one in my collection too.
Thanks for sharing

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm not sure how many large annual barks were made but my guess would be around 30 from 2005, 2006 and 2007. I think they started mammoth ivory in 2003 and stopped in 2008 (annuals) but the bark was used only for 3 of those years. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I heard that it was hard to cut the mammoth bark that thin and polish it, and then fit it in the frame for a large annual without breaking it.

The third from the left is stunning!
I am amazed at the machining that goes in to the Annual inlays, and can understand why not many are made with this Mammoth Bark.
I recently found this photo and think it puts things in to perspective:

I have a mammoth 2008 LE, it's in my pocket constantly.

Use them, you'll appreciate them more. I will post a review once I've had mine for at least six months of regular use.

Nice knives!

You and I are on the same page. I have collected the "trifecta" Large LE, Small LE and Mnandi all in Mammoth Ivory Bark. Only problem was I was unable to get damascus in the Large. oh well. I tried :D

Sweet knives. Funny, I collect a number of customs but still keep coming back to the LE's from CRK.
