Some Becker-East Spring Gathering Photos

I thought I'd share some pics from the gathering. This is the first year my daughter has gotten to go with me.

Alayna was really excited to show Ethan her scar, and tell him about starting our camp fire one handed the weekend after the accident. She was so excited that later he gave her a Ka-Bar “Big Heavy Bowie” on the off chance she would just like to remove one hand all together and switch to lighting fires exclusively one-handed So know I have a new tool to train her on in the near future

I am glad Dex and I got a chance to talk after the gathering for a few reasons. One was that I learned the Lodge “Sportsman's Grill” has been discontinued, so I stopped at Sloan's and bought one while I still could

As always it was a blast. I would love to be a fly on the wall at Alayna's school as she tells them about her weekend. Lisa says if the teacher calls asking about the “really big knife” (Alayna's words) she got this weekend, that I get to field that Question

NO!!!

It was a beautiful weekend there. Looking back on it I wish I had checked Alayna out of school early on Friday and went up then. I keep having to explain this sort of stuff to her teachers

Yeah, sadly. I was told they were like $130 at Sloan's, so the actual price was a pleasant surprise.
