Well, I just finished filming for the History Channel this weekend. It will be for a new show that starts in June and I am the Survival Instructor interviewed for the promo for the series. I addressed many issues in the interview process which lasted hours and then the second day of filming involved me providing technical assistance for filming skills and creating shelter, fire, etc.
Overall, from what I saw, I can say the skills are on point and the show is taking a very good approach to practical (not Hollywood or hype) survival and emergency preparedness. The crew was awesome and the other guy brought in to discuss medical aspects was a true professional. Catered food was great and I would love to do it again. Maybe I will.
I'll keep you guys posted when the promo for the show airs but it will be real soon. Thanks for the support and hopefully you'll recognize some of my gear (actually a lot of it) and the way I build shelters, bushcraft and some of my one liners.
