Some Buck 112 Love

A rebladed at Buck 112 with friends.

The Lacy is a very early one with a satin blade. I seen a picture of it in a gun forum and sent a email to the guy who posted it asking if he would sell it. I sent a postal money order to a PO box in New York with a prepaid mailer to me. Dave said I would never see again but a few days later it was in my mailbox! It's one of a few DY would buy from a hardware store and rehandle. A dealer told me there were 16 to 18 known and mine was the only one he seen that was used. I'm hoping to find a 'Fancy ' Lacy some day and one of his early sheiths..

Sorry for your loss, great having that 112 as true remembrance of your relationship with him. Preston

I hit more 'like' buttons in this thread than any other single one..gedlicks that is a fine, fine group ..JB monkey every single time I build a 112 on Bucks site I end up with that exact knife. When I started collecting 112's in 2006 I felt all alone. No one displayed them and there were few LE'S and maybe 6 gold etched blades. It's been my privilege to gather some of the rare and odd one's the last 10 years and the chase IS a blast!

I love seeing all the 112's guys. I've been late heading out the door a few mornings because I can't decide to go with a 110 or 112. I only have three of them so far....a standard version, the s30v black micarta drop point from C&C, and the lil Jack from SK. Still want a FG version and of course a custom. Keep up the great pictures boys, I appreciate 'em....
