They should function the same. The wave will be a little heavier due to the all steel versus titanium handles. The blade steel is also the same as on the original wave, not 154CM like the charge. I honestly don't know that the charge is worth the extra $$$$.

It probably is. Of course having to send mine back to Leatherman didn't make me none to happy.

It really shouldnt have slipped past QC. No biggie, as I'm sure Leatherman will make it right. Its just the fact of having to send it in and be without it.
