I see you have a soft spot for the Sowbellies too. Good bunch of knives there.

In the pic above , what is the tool visible on the bottom of the knife itself? (not the tweesers)

Before the invention of Q Tips,(shows ya how old the knife is) they used earpicks to scoop wax out of your ear. I originally thought it was a coke spoon.

Q-Tips® were invented in the 1920's by a Polish-born American named Leo Gerstenzang.

And mom always got on to me for using a key!

I think the spoon would be the way to go. Many folks pack the wax in their ears using q-tips. I have stuck pointy metal objects into peoples ears. As a medic in the Air National Guard. To clean the wax out. Nasty job. :barf:

Very nice knives. Beautiful. :)

ear wax? this is killing my appetite for lunch.

I did not know thats what the little "spoons" are for.

..is a knife with character! Really sweet! Looks like it's used - like it was meant to be.

I went to WalMart looking for a Schrade or two, and they didn't have any - especially one as nice as that trapper!

Lucky Dog.

Regards,

Jeremy
