Some comments on cut resistant gloves

Interesting thread, Cliff. As far as serrations go, we haven't found any of the kevlar type gloves that we couldn't quickly cut in half with one slice of a new serrated Spyderco K04 "utility".

We haven't had the opportunity to test any of the wire reinforced or chainmail pieces.

We haven't had the opportunity. If someone could provide me with a source where I may purchase any of these gloves and what to ask for, I would pleased to purchase and test for you.

Yes, I have looked at it with several grades of gloves. I am still looking at the cut resistance as effect by the grit level of sharpening, and the inherent cutting ability of the blade as influenced by edge angle.
